Nqonyama Okpanum and Associates is an architectural firm with extensive experience in the designing and planning of various architectural fields. Nqonyama Okpanum and Associates was founded in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa, 1997, and has since grown significantly to an International firm with. The founding directors, Sindile Ngonyama, Innocent Okpanum, and Tim-Hewitt Coleman, continue to carry through the founding values of “creativity, excellence, teamwork and integrity”.
Nqonyama Okpanum and Associates provides a full range of in-house professional services such as architecture, project management, interior and urban design. This ensures the effective management of projects and confidence in the end product. With six offices in South Africa and international offices in Abuja, Nigeria and Kampala. Uganda, we are able to compete both locally and in the greater African continent. Nqonyama Okpanum and Associates clients enjoy a full spectrum of in-house professional services from our Architects Interior Designers, Urban Designers and Project Managers.
Our fields of expertise are institutional buildings; office buildings; hospitality and healthcare developments; commercial, residential and industrial projects. Nqonyama Okpanum and Associates is a member of the Green Building Council and received commendation for our sustainable design of the University of Fort Hare’s teaching complex.
Our approach to excellent service delivery offers our clients and the community access to a resource network of complementary specialists in their respective fields. Teams have regular project development meetings. This process enables the design team to offer advice on effective solutions to guide the development of design concepts that will meet the client’s objectives, taking into cognisance emerging society themes and cultural imperatives.
